I am habitual to traveling, when ever I get time from my work, I Travel to any part of world with my family. When we feel some type of boredom from our work then there is a need of a tour to some beautiful and stress less place. I found Europe as the most beautiful place to travel. There are so many places to visit and you feel some sort of relief while take a tour of some cool places in world.
We should plan a perfect vacation for us; there are so many arrangements which we have to make to plan a really interesting tour. When you have to travel at a place where you are going for the first time then you should use travel guide to learn the places where you can spend time.
City Breaks in Europe
Most short break holidays or weekends have been single city breaks. Europe’s capital cities are favorite destinations, with London, Paris and Amsterdam, Budapest, Barcelona being the favorites. Aha say the pedants, but Barcelona is not a capital city? Oh yes it is. It’s the capital of Catalonia so that’s enough of that. I wanted to talk about multiple city breaks because that’s a more challenging form of short break holiday to organize and make arrangements for. So you could fly in and out to Rome, for example and still visit Florence, Milan and Pisa within a reasonable time frame – say less than one week for the complete city break.
The distance between cities in Europe is really not so great as often imagined due to the language and culture changes when passing from one to another. Europe also has lots of little countries around the Balkans and central European area, such as Croatia, Serbia, Czech and Slovenia all of which have fascinating historical capitals, handy for multiple city breaks in Europe, all being not very far away from each other.
If you’re planning a city break in Amsterdam, there are a lot of places you shouldn’t miss. The largest park of the city, Vondelpark, close to the Leidseplein and the big museums, is always alive with skaters, joggers and all sorts of street performers. During your city break you must visit Amsterdam’s most famous day market, with stalls lining both sides of the Albert Cuyp street. The canals of course are one of the major attractions of the ‘Venice of the North’. By daytime already very charming, by night they become even more enchanting because a lot of the canal houses and bridges are beautifully illuminated. The flower market on the Singel between the Munt tower and the Koningsplein is one of the most colourful, sweet-smelling sightseeing attractions in Amsterdam.
Prague City Break Attractions
There are other magnificent Churches you can visit while you are on your city break, the Church of St Nicholas that brings the old world style and modern glamor in one. Then there is the view of the Wenceslas Square or the Prague Gardens such as the Petrin Park. The bridges are something else that should not be missed one fine example is the Charles Bridge.
Rome is one of the most heard about cities in the world. Known as the Eternal city this ancient and glorious destination is widely appealing to a lot of tourists. Rome being the largest city in Italy and also the Capital has become so popular with tourism with its links to past civilizations. The most famous sight when visiting Rome is the Colosseum, a remnant of ancient Rome, it is known as the Flavian Amphitheatre which is the largest of amphitheatres during the time of the Roman Empire.
